01Profile

Poorya Aram began his career in 1997, as head of IT at a hospital, and has been founder and chief executive of ARG (Aram Ramz Gostaran) since 2007. ARG designs and delivers industrial control and building-automation systems together with the software that operates them: a hardware line of 289 model codes in ten families, with datasheets covering eleven industries; a building management system; and an automated trading platform. His own engineering scope runs from board-level hardware and firmware to the operator software above it.

    Holds technical and commercial responsibility for the company: product definition across the controller and field-device lines, the engineering of the building-management and trading platforms, the customer portals through which licences and subscriptions are issued, and the production servers on which the delivered systems run. Sets the product specifications and the addressing conventions shared across the controller, field-device and server layers.
